A study of Gui Shao Di Huang Wan: A PhD journey continues
I am now in the third year of my PhD (a 5-6 year part-time doctorate in pharmacology at the University of Portsmouth), with financial support from the RCHM, and have just completed and passed my major review. This means they are happy I am on track for producing original research leading to a PhD rather than being downgraded to an MPhil. I spent a good part of the autumn preparing for it, it is like a first viva with documentation, presentation and questioning by examiners. It turned out to be a very useful process as well as quite a tough one.
