COURSE OVERVIEW
This course provides an overview of how pain is perceived, and the existing research that sheds light on the multiple central and peripheral bio-mechanisms behind the analgesic effects of acupuncture.
By the end of this course you will have an understanding of how different drugs and different acupuncture point regimens affect different parts of our body and reduce pain in different ways.
