Medical Ethics for Practitioners of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

This one CEU class discusses the four universal principles of modern medical ethics and their clinical implications as well as the history of specifically Chinese medical ethics. It also discusses the ethical codes of several Western acupuncture and Oriental medicine associations and organizations, such as the NCCAOM. Several common problem areas and issues for Western acupuncturists are discussed in detail, such as sexual misconduct, making referrals, record keeping, and "secret" formulas.
