Use in traditional medicine
She Xiang (Moscus) is acrid, warm and aromatic and enters the Heart, Spleen and Liver. It vigorously opens the orifices, revives the spirit, and unblocks closed disorders (for many disorders involving impairment of consciousness, with or without fever, collapse, seizures etc.), and invigorates the blood, dissipates clumps, reduces swelling and alleviates pain (for fixed, palpable masses, toxic sores, carbuncles, traumatic injury, rheumatic/arthritic pain etc.).
